Description
This picture is for Cursey, because his HArpg Character Vidar helped Joana to get her Kathiawari stallion Rakesh out of India... those horses can't be exported legally, so, uhm, Vidar had to do some Vidar things to take Rakesh over the country border
previous story: The Smuggle | nothing for beginners by abosz007 |"The Smuggle Part 3"| see what happens next: to come
After Vidar arranged the "official stuff", they found a cheap carrying business thad hat a transport to Pakistan that day and still some free space in the trailer. Unfortunately, the spedition would go to the North after crossing the border, while Vidar and Joana wanted to go West, to Jacobabad; a city which had an airport and flights with the possibility to transport animals.
A few kilometres after crossing the border to Pakistan, Joana and Vidar left the transporter and put up their tent for the night. They still had a long journey to Jacobabad Airport where they planned to take the plane to Europe.
When everything was prepared for the night, Joana pulled two bottles of Rum out of her rucksack. "I just wanted to say thank you and drink to the successful smuggle with you. I'm sorry, this is definitely not the best stuff, but it was hard enough to get some alcohol in India at all. I hope you don't mind!"
Vidar smiled. He didn't seem to be bothered about it.
Joana enjoyed the company of the silent pirate. He was polite and distanced in a pleasant way, not like those self-absorbed idiots she had around herself most of the time.
She knew she would remember that day for a long time. It was her last day of her research year in Asia, a cheerful evening with alcohol and her beloved horse on her side - uhm, almost in her tent - that she in the end didn't have to leave in India.
