Exterieur:
Very much of the Arabian horse: beautiful, long, curved neck with a flexible poll, well laid-back shoulder, relatively flat withers, clear legs, and the typical concave head shape with big eyes and nostrils.
She luckily got a Trakehner croup with a less high-carried tail, what makes her more suitable for jumping and dressage.

Character:
Pokerface is brave and self-confident. She doesn't stick to the other horses which makes it easy to take her for a ride away from the group.
Altough she mostly is the leadmare in a herd, she has a friendly behavior and doesn't attack submissive horses. She is absolutely good-natured and calm.

Story:
David found this mare in a horse sales magazine, she was bred by private people in Poland. Their intention was to breed an Overo horse out of their Arabian mare which can be registered as purebred Trakehner, but when Pokerface was born, she had the beautiful overo pattern but her built was too much of an Arabian horse. They didn't have much hope to get her registered and so they sold her for a relatively low price to Elbdale.

David told Diego to train the mare in classical dressage. His plan was to model her musculature so she looks more like a Warmblood, and his strategy worked very well. The training compensated the weaknesses in her build. In addition to that, David pulled some strings in the Trakehner Association and managed to get her registered as a Trakehner.
After her basic training, it was clear that her Eventing abilities were good enough to be used as a broodmare. She propably won't ever compete in a show because David wants to start breeding with her as soon as possible to see how she passes on her features.
